Coursera Inc.: Course Card Design Evolution
This project focuses on the research driven evolution of course card offerings for Coursera. Over the course of 2025, I conducted iterative research and development to evaluate how course cards functioned across discovery, comprehension, and conversion. This included comparative analysis of existing card variants, review of performance metrics, and qualitative assessment of visual hierarchy, information density, and user interaction.

Through performance analysis and structured experimentation, the project identified opportunities to improve clarity, scannability, and perceived value. Design decisions were informed by data on engagement and user behavior, leading to refinements in typography, layout, imagery, and content prioritization. Each iteration was tested and measured to ensure changes were grounded in both user needs and platform goals.

This work reflects my approach to design as an analytical and evolving system where visual decisions are inseparable from research, testing, and real world impact. The project demonstrates how thoughtful interface design can shape user understanding, guide choice, and scale across a complex educational platform.
